Synopsis 

Vidaamuyarchi is the story of Arjun and Kayal wanting to take one last trip together as a couple as they go through divorce proceedings 12 years after their wedding. But during their last trip, their car breaks down in the middle of nowhere in Azerbaijan. Two strangers come and offer a ride to Kayal to a nearby cafe, but when Arjun reaches the cafe to pick up Kayal, she is missing. Who kidnapped Kayal and why? Watching the movie.

Ajith Kumar now gets very popular through winning the Dubai racing win compitition last year and made India proud. Back to the topic, after the success of Thunivu (2023), Ajith Kumar, who is the man of many talents, once again comes back with Vidaamuyarchi action, romance, and thriller movie.

The first half runs in an interesting way where we are introduced to how Arjun and Kayal meet for the first time twelve years ago and why now they decide to separate, while the second half is only for Ajith Kumar fans, because the second half is the perfect mixture of action and thriller, which we saw in the Thunivu movie last year, 2023.If you are not a fan of Ajith Kumar or if you are watching his movie for the first time, especially Vidaamuyarchi (2025), you might notice that the romantic or emotional bond between him and Trisha is lacking. For your information, Ajith Kumar is primarily an action hero, not a comedy or romantic actor. 

The majority of his movies belong to the action genre.In this paragraph now we talk about cast performance, so let's begin with Ajith Kumar as Arjun. In the first half, his performance is effortlessly stylish with his look. His screen presence is commendable, and he delivers well in the action sequences. 

But he wins the audience's heart, especially in the second half of the movie, where his action skills are watchable. While the other side, Trisha, who plays the role of Kayal, looks beautiful in her role, her performance is decent as a wife of Arjun, but she doesn’t get much scope to showcase her acting skills.

No doubt, Trisha is a very talented actress who has worked in many popular movies in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. However, in the movie Vidaamuyarchi, her screen presence is quite limited compared to her co-stars.

 Personally, I believe that Trisha and Vijay Thalapathy make a better pair than Trisha and Ajith Kumar.Anirudh’s background score lacks freshness, and there are no powerful moments for him to enhance with his music. While on the other side, some songs are forgettable, failing to create any lasting impression.

Conclusion 

Vidaamuyarchi is an action-thriller movie directed by Magizh Thirumeni, who also directed Kalaga Thalaivan (2022). Back to the topic, Vidaamuyarchi is a family drama where you won’t find any adult scenes. I highly recommend this movie to everyone who reads this article.
