Plus Points (+)
Hiphop Tamizha, who is mainly popular as a musician, but nowadays he puts his hands in the director field anyway after the success of "PT Sir." Director Hiphop Tamizha cast Anagha Maruthora as the lead actress in his film.
We saw lots of movies in childhood where one country was trying to invade another country to gain more power and spread fear all over the world , this is the same case with the Kadaisi Ulaga Por film, where other countries led by China and Russia attacked India and tried to get all over the control.
The first half is slow pace and combinations of drama, a love triangle between Thamizh and CM GNR's daughter Keerthana, and a thriller. I personally like the first half because that's when the movie runs smoothly—no dramatic and emotional scenes, only suspense, thrillers, and a little bit of romance—while the other side's second half is the mixture of unwanted action and dramatic scenes, which doesn't add any value to the film.
Hiphop Tamizha, who is the director and writer of this film, appears in the lead role, where he plays the role of Thamizh. The first half of his performance attracts more audience towards the cinema hall, but in the second half, when the camera focuses on Keerthana and Thamizh's romantic scenes instead of the film's core plot, it's irritating the majority of the audience and public waiting for acting and thrillers, not romances.
Anagha as Keerthana performance is decent before the interval, while on the other side, Nassar as a CM of Tamil Nadu performance is top-notch and his dialogue delivery is next level.
Minus Points (-)
Anagha Maruthora, aka Anagha, is a talented actress who main works in Malayalam and Tamil movies. In the first half, her acting is decent as a single girl and daughter of CM. But in the second half, when she comes into relationship with Thamizh, she becomes Aaliya Bhatt. In the Brahmastra film, she only had one dialogue in the entire movie, which was "Shiva" (hero name).
This is the same case with Anagha in Kadaisi Ulaga Por; she only had one dialogue in her lips, which was "Thamizh. Even when Tamizh is beaten up by goons or even when Keerthana is unconscious, we just see her repeat the hero’s name, which irritates audiences.
Hiphop Tamizha, who is himself composed The music and background scores aren’t impressive; the sound quality is also jarring and unclear. While on the other side, Pradeep E. Ragav editing is average.
