Synopsis
Ajayante Randam Moshanam, aka ARM, is the story of Ajay, an electrician from Chiyothikavu, Kerala. He loves Laxmi, who belongs to a rich family, but due to the bad reputation of his grandfather, Maniyan, who once stole the valuable Sreeboodhi Lamp from the village temple. But things went worse when Sudhev entered his village. Who is Sudhev, and what's he wants? And how does Ajay win Laxmi's parent's heart?

We saw many fictional movies in the past like Bhramam, Garudan, Minnal Murali, and more, but director Jithin Laal goes one step ahead to making ARM, where in his direction the movie gets a positive response from audiences.
The movie begins with a voiceover that grabs audience attention in the initial time, where the first half is a mixture of drama and love tracks between the lead cast and suspense, but the second half is a slow pace and combination of thriller, suspense, and action.
Tovino Thomas, who was popular for Minnal Murali among children, now appears in the lead cast, where he plays the role of Ajay, an electrician, plumping work and taking tuition to kids to support his family. Tovino Thomas is the Prabhas of the Malayalam film industry. The first half of his dialogue delivery and romantic scenes with Laxmi are watchable, but due to the slow pace and unwanted thriller scenes in the second half, it looks like the movie lost his core plot, which is responsible for holding the audience on their seats. On the other side, Tovino Thomas appears in this movie in a triple role (Ajay, Maniyan, and Kunjikelu).
Without actions and romance scenes, a movie becomes a super hit on box-office collection records, but without comedy, it's hardly possible. This is the same case with Ajayante Randam Moshanam, where action and thriller scenes contribute 60 percent in this film, while on the other side, Basil Joseph comedy dialogues play a 40 percent role in this film. The moral of the story is comedy is nowadays a necessity of the movies.

Ajayante Randam Moshanam aka ARM film story is unique and interesting, especially in the first half when Kunjikelu history scenes come about how he saves Haripuram from foreigners and more about him. But the second half is poorly written and has many flaws.
Krithi Shetty, who plays Laxmi, feels underdeveloped if makers give her more freedom herself to express herself instead of being the girlfriend or lover of Ajay.
