Plus Points (+)

Director Harish Shankar, who is famous for Gabbar Singh (2012) and Ramayya Vasthavayya (2013), has literally disappeared from the Telugu film industry after some years. Now he has again come back with Ravi Teja.

For your information, I tell you that Mr. Bachchan is the remake of the 2018 Hindi film "Raid," Where Ajay Devgn and Saurabh Shukla in the lead cast.
Back to the topic, the first half is a mixture of Satya and Chammak Chandra comedy tracks and drama and romantic scenes between Ravi Teja and Bhagyashri Borse, and to add taste of "old is gold," makers add some old songs of Kumar Sanu and ANR's dance moves, Amitabh Bachchan dialogues, and more.

The second half is a combination of action, thriller, and suspense, and how Mr. Bachchan, as Anand, gets his job again and how he exposes big politicians and public figures is watchable.
After the failure of Eagle (2024), Ravi Teja once again comes back with another action, drama, and suspense movie, Mr. Bachchan, where he appears in the lead cast and plays the role of Anand, an income tax officer who temporarily susended to his honesty and bravery.

The first half of his performance is like a jobless and careless person who impresses his crush through Kumar Sanu songs , ANR's dance moves, and Amitabh Bachchan dialogues, where his acting is better than  his previous movie "Eagle," while after the interval he activates his action mode, and a twist comes in the movie when he raids on a local public figure, Mutyam Jaggaiah.
Yes, it is true that Ravi Teja was very popular in the 1900s, when his majority of movies broke box office records. But now, due to the new generation, a new audience can't accept him, but still, his dance moves and stylish entries attract fans attention.

Bhagyashri Borse, who is most famous for Hindi movies through Mr. Bachchan, now appears in Telugu cinema for the first time, where she plays the role of Jikki, a girlfriend of Anand. In the first half, she appears the majority of the time on screen, where her performance is decent, but in the second half, she has nothing to do much because the movie totally revolves around Ravi Teja and Jagapathi Babu.

Jagapathi Babu, who is famous for his negative roles, now appears in a movie where he plays the role of Mutyam Jaggaiah, a member of Parliament in the Congress government. In the first half, he shines with his bold dialogue and as a politician who is corrupt and greedy for money. But in the second half, due to bad writing, his character fades, whereas he was very strong in the first one.

Minus Points (-)

The cast selection is good, but due to the lack of seriousness in the movie, it looks like you're watching any random action, drama, or comedy movie, not like Mr. Bachchan.

Orginal film Raid is a perfect combination of emotions like action, thriller, and suspense, but in this movie, the director adds unwanted comedy scenes, which irritate audiences.

Ravi Teja wins audience hearts through his comedy and action scenes, but his romantic scenes with Bhagyashri Borse are not engaging and look scripted. On the other side, Satya and Chammak Chandra comedy tracks do not work as intended.

Technical Aspects.

Mr. Bachchan is among those movies that are popular for their music, cinematography, and editing instead of the movie story, because anyone knows the story of this movie.
Cinematographer Ayananka Bose captures the film beautifully, especially during the song sequences and lead cast facial expressions. While getting popular through editing in "KGF,"  Ujwal Kulkarni did decent work in this movie as an editor.
