Plus Points (+)

After appearing in Romeo, Frances Antony Cyril Raja aka Vijay Antony now comes with an action-revenge movie where his action scenes remind you of Vidyut Jammwal's Bollywood movie Commando. The film script has no weight, but the cast goes beyond their boundaries to entertain the audience.

The whole movie's suspense depends on why hero doesn't like rain and what happened to him in the past. This catchy line grabs audience attention, but when audiences learn why he doesn't like rain, than movie becomes less interesting for the majority of audiences, but still the lead cast acting holds action lover attention towards them.

As we discussed above, movie scripts have no weight, and it seems like makers write script using AI-generated tools like ChatGPT or Gemini AI. Overall, the movie fails in terms of an interesting story, but the lead actors' acting is watchable.

Our hero, Vijay Antony, who already has a musician, has good taste in music. That's reason movie music is decent and well played. On the other side, it's background music gets full marks.

Vijay Antony, who is famous for Vandha Devulle Pichaikkaran and Jajjanaka Mahathma, now appears in the lead cast, where he plays the role of Secret Agent Salim. In the first half, he shines with commender in the sting operation, where his bold dialogues and action scenes convince the audience that they are not watching any cliched film.

Sathyaraj's performance as Captain is below average because he looks awkward in commander officer inform, but his dialogues are well written, while on the other side, R. Sarathkumar and other supporting cast did the needed.

Minus Points (-)

After Bairagee, S. D. Vijay Milton, director and cinematographer puts his hand in action, thriller movie Mazhai pidikatha Manithan, but this time he misses the opportunity to win the hearts of the audience. His intentions are good, but due to bad writing and flop screenplays, movies become tedious for the majority audiences.

In the beginning of the movie, the animated sequence is poorly executed, and it's had a negative impact on the minds of the audience, who have lots of hopes for the actor Vijay Antony.

Murali Sharma, who is popular in Hindi cinema as well as Tamil cinema as a police officer, is a very talented actor, but in this movie he has nothing to do much.

Technical Aspects

Director Vijay Milton attracts the audience through the movie title: A man who doesn't like rain but fails to hold them on the seat for a long time. If he focuses more on the movie script instead of adding lots of action scenes, that is better for the film.

Achu Rajamani music is fine, but the real hero of our story is K. L. Praveen, whose editing skills are satisfactory.
