Synopsis
O Manchi Ghost is story of Chaitanya , Pavuram , Raziya and Lakshman , Due to argent need of money Chaitanya kidnaps his cousin Keerthi and daughter of MLA Sada Siva Rao and and take her to a palace haunted by a ghost on the village outskirts. What is hidden secret of haunted place ? And what is Chaitanya demend to release Keerthi.

When he hear about best comedian in South Indian industry, First name comes in our mind are - Yogi Babu , Motta rajendran and Vennela Kishore . One thing you notice that Vennela Kishore did 3 to 4 movies in 2024 . Back to topic
First half is slow pace and watchable , where Nandita Swetha character adding freshness taste in horror movies . While other side second half is the combination of Comedy and little bit scary.
O Manchi Ghost strengths are Vennela Kishore and Shakalaka Shankar house down antics and Nandita Swetha character where background music of Anup Rubens Play roles of film soul .
Movie apperances look likes movie made on shoestring budget, but solid cast performance , decent VFX and background music of Anup Rubens makes movie intresting for audiences.
Director Shankar K. Marthand who is famous for Expiry Date film. Now he comes with horror movie. Where he didn't do anything new, concept of horror movie is same but movie execution makes it different not story or background music.
The best thing about O Manchi Ghost is the balance between comedy and horror. In last two years we saw lots of comedy and horror movies but due to unbalance between two important emotions movie fall into boring, humorous or comedy category but in the case with O Manchi Ghost is different where maker did anything in balance.
Vennela Kishore appears in Atma role , where fast half his performance did the needed, but in second half his comdey is next level and we see a some scenes where Vennela Kishore and Shakalaka Shankar bring the house down with their antics.
Nandita Shwetha character adding twist in film , where she convincing in her role while other side her dialogues delivery got full marks. Navami Gayak , Shakalaka Shankar good in their role.

O Manchi Ghost comes with unique horror story, But due average screen play movie can't attracts more audience.
The concept of kidnapping the daughter of an MLA is interesting, but this scene not adding any type value in movie.
Movie songs are decent but it's background music play an important role to adding taste of horror and comedy.
